A Chicago animal shelter is currently in search of a forever home for a charming canine named Elvis. Despite the recent “Fall in Love” event hosted by the Anti-Cruelty Society, Elvis, a three-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix, remains the sole pup awaiting adoption.

Described as having a contagious smile that brightens any room, Elvis is a cuddler who appreciates sharing personal space. The shelter recommends him as the ideal pet for a household without other animals. Elvis is well-trained in matters of hygiene, being both potty and crate-trained. He also responds to basic commands like sitting and lying down.

Elvis has faced challenges in his past, including overcoming a fractured pelvis and other injuries. While he has bounced back, officials note the possibility of arthritis in his later years and some issues with his left ear. Despite these hurdles, Elvis is ready to bring joy and companionship to a loving forever home.
