Ashley Boggs, a dedicated dog rescuer, was driving down a forest road in Puerto Rico when she encountered a desperate, brown canine stopping cars and begging for help. Unlike typical strays, this nursing mom, later named Goji, was frantic to find aid for her newborn puppies.
Feeling the urgency, Ashley quickly exited her car and found Goji abandoned in the woods with her puppies, suffering from hunger and thirst. As part of her work with Miracles for Satos Rescue, Ashley successfully rescued Goji and two of her puppies, safely securing them in her vehicle.
The Full Rescue
Responding to additional cries, Ashley bravely returned to the woods where she discovered four more puppies hidden near the abandoned box. With unwavering determination, she successfully rescued all seven puppies, carefully securing them inside her vehicle.
The Berry family was rescued in a timely manner
At the facility, the team promptly provided essential care for the Berry family. Famished and eager for a new beginning, the family members were lovingly named after various berries: Raspberry, Blueberry, Gooseberry, Cloudberry, Blackberry, and Strawberry.
A Fresh Start Is In Store
Goji quickly adapted and became the most affectionate canine, adored by everyone she encountered. The Berry family also found their forever homes, transitioning from abandoned strays to beloved pets who now embrace their new lives to the fullest.
