It was a heart-wrenching scene when we found the distressed mother dog and her puppy. Both were severely underweight and dehydrated, their desperate condition a testament to their struggle as a homeless family. The mother’s frantic cries, unable to provide for her young one, painted a deeply distressing picture of their plight.
Fortunately, a compassionate Samaritan came to their rescue. After providing them with much-needed nourishment, she transported them to the veterinarian for further care.
The vet, though initially shocked by their condition, was determined to help. She administered fluids and tonic through an IV, working to stabilize the frail mother who could barely stand. With time, space, and dedicated nursing care, recovery was possible.
Once scrounging for scraps, this family’s fortunes changed with their adoption. Now, they are embraced by a loving foster family that ensures they receive the best care and nutrition. Each day brings new signs of improvement.
After just three months of attentive care, the mother is gaining weight and showing remarkable progress. Her puppy, too, is thriving and growing healthy.
