It’s hard to believe our little bundle of energy is now 3 years old! It feels like just yesterday she was a tiny 8.5-pound pup who landed in our lives. Sometimes it seems like she’s always been with us, and other times, it feels like she’s grown up in the blink of an eye.
Penny’s personality shines through everything she does—whether she’s hiking with us, playing in the snow, hanging out at the racetrack, modeling new headwear, or just napping on the couch. She truly is quite the little lady!
If you follow us on Instagram and Facebook, you know Penny has been busy making a name for herself in the world of dog sports. Over the past year, we’ve delved into nosework and ratting, and she’s been amazing! Penny pushes me to do things I never thought I could, and our skills continue to grow each day.
I’m constantly amazed by her focus and dedication during trials. Watching our runs on video has been fascinating and has deepened our bond. Collecting ribbons along the way has been an added bonus, and she’s had great success in both Barn Hunt and Happy Ratters.
It’s been another thrilling year with Penny. She’s taken us out of our comfort zones and back into hiking—something she adores. Here’s to many more adventures and milestones with our sweet girl.
